You don't really know me till you hang out with me. I lead several double-lives. I have a horrible sleeping schedule. I speed. A lot. I get bored easily. The simple and awkward things in life amuse me. The space between two trees fascinates me (ask me about it). I'll laugh at the dumbest things. I'm not shy. I just don't wanna talk to you... for now. I have all sorts of facial expressions and nonverbal humor. I'll be a dick to you but in the most caring way possible. I'm a big fan of doing one thing every day that scares you (quote: Eleanor Roosevelt).

Teddie joined the jazz scene in November of '05. He has studied with Nuje Blattel, Johnny Vidacovich, Ryan Ogradowicz, Jerre Jackson, Mike Lutomski, Chad Tumminello, and Joel Fulgham. He currently attends HCC - Town & Country under the guidance of Sebastian Whittaker (d), Steve Hale (v), Bob Henschen, and Joe LoCascio. Very active in the jazz program, he floats around the jazz/ jam scenes and considers the leisure of jazz cafes as education.
He teaches young drummers how to "sit'n'play" by directly eliminating their fears of the drumset. Like Johnny V. once told him, "They're just tree trunks and skins, and ya beat it with a stick!" The result is building confidence, being relaxed, on-the-fly composition/ improvisation, and acquiring the beliefs of a working musician. The same principles apply to networking, personal well-being, and building an assertive lifestyle. He also teaches marching snare (velocity and "wrist legato"/ Moeller styles).
He currently plays with the Rob Erickson Trio (Saturdays, Perry's in The Woodlands), mothertone (Rock/ Experimental), and has drummed for the musicals "Honk" (Cypress Christian School) and "Rock Nativity" (A.D. Players).
