I write music. I play accordion, piano and a bunch of other stuff. I am in the Claudia Quintet (John Hollenbeck's band). Sometimes I play with Shivaree, Laura Cantrell, Oren Bloedow & Jennifer Charles, and a few other people. I really like to write for films when people let me.
I used to play with Anthony Braxton, David Krakauer, Roberto Rodriguez, Slavic Soul Party, and a lot of other people.
Some of these songs are excerpts of long pieces from my new record. Some are unreleased tracks I thought might be interesting for people to hear.
Other info: I was born in Aroostook County, Maine and did in fact live on a bean farm.
If you really want to know more, I've been writing a blog at:

Hi Ted. I found another album of yours in a tiny record store here in Salzburg, along with a lot of other Tzadik stuff, great music man. Best regards, Halli/Salzburg
In your music is a very interesting mix from jazz and other music: sometimes it seems like Eisler, or avantgarde... I like it very much! Greetz from Hamburg / Germany
Thanks for the add. I'm a big Claudia Quintet fan. Your solo on "Misty Hymen" changed the way I think about the accordion. I really like your Memory Thief score as well. Take care,
hey ted, good to meet you at curtis's mellow edwards gig awhile back. we should play sometime. we're playing at the lizard lounge on dec 27 is you want to come down and check it out.
Ted, i know shoes are important to you and that's why i've asked the Wu-Tang Clan to design the Ted Reichman Wonder Wallabies. bless you and your accordian
Nice accordian! You should play with Whoarfrost at some point. You have to run around with your accordian and a cocktail dress from the 50's, reciting different lessons from Barney the Purple Dino
Ted, thanks.. I'm not in Boston now, but will be there in the fall, and will keep you posted, sure.. I was really moved by the music on your site. very, very inspiring.matti
