Ted Roddy's the RILL THANG, pure and simple, an undiluted, precision-engineered talent. And he's a fellow product of Corpus Christi, which means we share a language few of the rest of you could comprehend. (Wanna make us both giggle like 14 years olds? Just say the words "Count Bella Zarbo." Don't ask!) I have nothing but respect for this man. Bless ya, Teddy! Good to be back in contact with ya!
You're always one of my favorite acts to catch when I'm in Austin. Fact is: you're one of the reasons I started going to Austin in the first place. Really enjoy your stuff!
Hope things are going well and hope to hear you soon.....
Thanks to all you supported the January Elvis Birthday Bash shows! If you attended you got to see our special guest PJ Proby rock the house! What a treat! Watch for new Backwoods Hipster gigs and our debut single coming soon! Peace and aloha! TR
no....I have'nt seen the Travis Wammack youtubes...WILL INVESTIGATE...I SUGGEST YOU CHECK OUT Fitzgeralds (Berwyn , Ill.) ,The Abbey , or Schuba's (Where The Tall Tops would have played that fateful night...), and see if maybe you can line up something , there. There's other possibilities , tho'...Seven months til Auguist! That's a lot of time...Gotta be cool , now , gotta take care , John.
Hey , Ted , Tallest Christmas Wishes to You! I'm still rootin' around for my copy of "Christmas in The Congo" (It's not lost , it's just in one of my fave 45 boxes somewhere.). Happy New Year , and Happy Elvis' Birthday. Wish I could make one of those shows. TCB so mellow , John.
Hi Ted. It's been a couple of years since my last trip to Austin. Remember the gig you had back than at Hole In The Wall, it was quite fun. And of course you played our requests since we came all the way from Norway... We'll be back, hopefully sometimes next autumn. See you then!
Howdy Ho, I heard "Tears on the Table" on the radio the other day, The old Troubadour version, woah, I had forgotten about that little gem. You sounded soooo country. Larupin' I'd say.
Thanks for the add It is a pleasure to have you as friend and for Supporting your fellow Independent Artist If you are looking airplay and exposure we can help! Ken Smith xradio.biz/austin

Dear Ted , Sorry I've been out of touch. Had a good talk with Jim Heath. He's preparing the landing gear for his third daughter. We did a benefit last week for "?", went real well...You probably heard The Nervebreakers are reforming , to make an album. I've been OK , spozed to do a few DJ gigs , soon. That's about it. Happy Trails , John.
TED , THANKS FOR THE FRIEND REQUEST.I HOPE I CAN GET BACK TO BIG - A TOWN AND SEE YOU PERFORM AGAIN , SOON. Meantime , if you've got any releases you'd like a biased review on , let me know...I talked to Augie Meyers the other day , he sounded like he was doin' all right. Tony Joe White was here in December. So git down funky a FLY found its' way around his hat in the below 20 degree weather...Speaking of which , I hope it warms up down there...STRANGE things happening...Yo' Pal , John.
