Repo Man, Suburbia and stuff like that.. I'm more into drama than comedies. Though, Dude, Where's the party (A VERY funny Indian movie lampooning the culture of Indian immigrants), and Joe's Apartment deserve honorable mention
Television
First and foremost, I'd like to say most shows like Seinfeld and Freinds bore me to tears.. I don't think I have EVER sat through a full episode of either show.
A while back Rob was watching a show called "Who's Line is it anyway". He thought it was funny. It made me want to burn the TV. Really. It was like having a group of the most annoying loud obnoxious people you know in the room with you carrying on with random pointless crap.
I prefer drama & Real life shows (not 'reality' tv crap).
I guess I'm just not into mindless "idiot box" TV.
My favorite shows are whatever is on the 15 different Discovery Channel subchannels, TLC, or The History Channel.
High Definition cable rules.
When I'm in the mood for fluff, it's QUALITY fluff.. Malcom in the Middle, Family Guy, South Park, The Simpsons, Squidbillies, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, or other fine Adult Swim programs.
I DEARLY miss JUNKIN' on the old Turner South! I hope Dave & Val find a new channel for the show!
Then there are shows that fit the "I thought the show would be stupid, but I ended up REALLY liking them when I actually saw them" shows. A few examples are: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Man Show, Monster Garage, Pimp My Ride.
