early misfits meet early damned and ramones in a 60's garage contaminated by alien x-rays
A brief history:
In early 1999 three musicians hailing from Planet X first landed on Planet Earth to find out that the concept of dirty Rock'n'Roll is something highly enjoyed by lifeforms of both worlds. Soon, Dr. Hieronymus von Fuckwit (Vocals, Guitar), Mighty J. Blackenburg (Guitar) and Tom Torment (Drums) hit the stage with their bone-shaking, spine-tingling wall of sound that also features subliminal hypnotic messages that help the Teenage Astro Dictators to conquer this stinking planet when the time is right. As the year 2000 arrived, they suddenly disappeared which let some of their fans become very confused. Most of them were sure that they returned to Planet X. And yes, they did, to prepare themselves for Phase 2 of their conspiracy versus humanity. They returned to this Planet in late 2001, carrying along their new member Captain Carsten Blastoff, who is firing invisible loboto-rays with his bass guitar, so that the audience will happily accept their new leaders when the time has come to take over. But when will that happen? Will they return to Planet X before and come back with even more sinister weapons? Where is Planet X anyway? And where do they hide their spaceship and laboratories? Buy their records and see their shows, and maybe you'll get some answers to these important questions.
The music:
The whole world can be described in three chords; that's something the Teenage Astro Dictators found out quite early. So it's no surprise that their blend of spooky, chilling Ghoulpunk bears a resemblance to sounds of earthly outfits like the tunes the Ramones or the Misfits did in their early days. But there are also hints at Garage, Sixties and Surf stuff as well as the more melodic style that used to be played in and around Britain.
