Bio
.. .. ....Created in 1971 out of the Lower East Side, Harold c. Black and Billy Joe White Created Teenage Lust. They Derived their name from the Detroit's own MC5. After paying their dues with David Peel and the Lower East Side, Harold and billy brought their friends Barry Fields, Charlie Wolff and Jimmy Chriss into the band. Soon after they were Booking gigs at The Mercer Art Center, Max's Kansas City, and even backing up John Lennon at the One to One concert at Madison Square Garden. Soon after they were getting press in the Village Voice, Creem, NY Ace, and Melody Maker. In early 1973 they made their way to a Week long stint at The Bitter End. Marking the show was the introduction of Burlesque into their shows by adding their girlfriends as the Lustettes. Four Girls made up the act, Laurie, Leslie, Laurie, and Loretta. The Girls were firm, Lissom, and Tights-laden. Usually pitching flowers to the audience. Afterward they roamed the various clubs like Coventry, Club Thirteen, Kenny's Castaways, all leading up to their pinnacle shows at The Michigan Palace (oct 5th and 6th, 1973)with Iggy and the Stooges, and the Academy of Music(dec 31, 1973) Kiss opened for them. .... .. .. .. .. .. -
