The song playing is by 'Rev Theory', from the album 'Light It Up', newly added to the LPL music collection. Check out this CD and many, many others in the London Public Library online music catalogue
Below are some clips from a concert by Harry and the Potters. They came from Boston and performed last year in the Reading Garden at the Central Library to a crowd of over 500 people.
Only one of three Canadian performances. Check them out!
Across Ontario we're reading and voting for our favourite books! Check out the books to the right and post your own review of it on our book blog at our Teen Book Blog. Links to voting will be posted in October.

The Teen Annex is at London Public Library in London Ontario Canada. We have hundreds of new CDs, graphic novels, dvds and regular books, all waiting for you.
Did you know that you can look in our catalogue (our web database of all our books, music, dvds), find items you want and then "place a hold" to have them sent to the library location nearest you so you can pick them up. We even call you when they arrive - how cool is that?? Explore what we have by looking at the library catalogue
Project due tomorrow and can't find info? We can help!
It's called Research Pro!
search thousands of articles from popular magazines and academic journals
you can't find these articles on the "regular" Internet, only through our website because they cost money
they are free for you, however, once you have a free London Public Library card because we've already paid for them!
When you click on the Research Pro link, you'll be asked to type in your London Public Library card. Here's Research Pro.
If you need help with Research Pro, remember that you can visit us in person, call our help line at 519-661-4600 or email us.
Who I'd like to meet:
If you live in London and you're between 12 and 18 years old, why not join the Teen Annex Committee?
TAC meets on the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of each month from 3 - 4 pm. Meetings for 2009: September 23, October 14th & 28nd, November 11th and 25th, December 9th! Members of TAC share their ideas and opinions about current teen trends, movies, music, programs, popular books and our website?
Time spent on this group may be used as part of your community volunteer hours. Register by phone 519-661-4600 or in person at the Welcome Desk, Central Library.
I'd also like to meet writers who write for teens, teen writers, teen artists (why not have a show in the free gallery space at the Library) and teen musicians (why not play at L.O.U.D.? look at the blog for more info).
Be on the look-out for these bands who will be performing at the Central Library's Teen Annex, 251 Dundas Street. As always, these concerts are free! Bring a friend, and enjoy some great, local indie teen bands!

Thanks for the add, I would like to tell you about my new book:
The Tear Collector;
Fans of Twilight, the Vampire Diaries, and other vampire books should prepare for a new kind of vampire—one that feeds off of tears instead of blood. Descended from an ancient line of creatures that gain their energy from human tears, I depend on human sorrow to live. My job as a grief counselor at the hospital provides me with perfect cover to keep this secret safe, and any time a friend needs a shoulder to cry on, I'm there. Only I've grown tired of living a lie and I wants to live like a human, especially now that I've found someone worth fighting for.
Happy Teen Read Week; read beyond reality with The Tear Collector ("an
interesting twist on the popular vampire genre, and readers will be caught up
in Cass's difficult dilemma of choosing between love or family." – Booklist)
