Aaron feels like he spent the whole day in meetings. Thankfully, he got a break when he had a program in which he showed Transformers 2. Posted at 2:47 AM Nov 17 view more
About me: I have been the Young Adult Librarian at the Greenville Public Library since 2001. Before that I was a Children's Reference Assistant. As part of my job I get to help plan and produce programs for young adults ranging in age from 11 - 17 years of age.
I am also the Chair of the Rhode Island Teen Book Award Committee, which selects about 20 nominee books each year for teens to read and use to select a winner.
I teach Adolescent Literature at Rhode Island College as an adjunct instructor.
I teach Public Library Services for Children and Young Adults and Public Library Services at the University of Rhode Island's Graduate School of Library and Information Studies.
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone with an interest in books, libraries, and working with teens.
Hi Aaron, thanks for the add-onceagain I DEFINITELY want to keep in touch and have you visit Boston soon! I keep sending resumes/cover letters out in dribs & drabs so I am hoping for a "hit" soon. The happiest of holidays to you guys and a wonderful, prosperous New Year for all of us and this country. Hugs, BRIAN
