About me: NYC is oversaturated with things to do, but as with residents in any city, many Brooklynites find comfort in habituation. While there’s a pending pressure to “go out,” the act of “going out” lends itself most immediately to weekend warrior pub&party crawls in NYC's ever-burgeoning playgrounds. It’s right to give thanks and praise for this jungle gym of jouissance! But (despite the obscene plethora of options) it can sometimes feel like there’s no worthy alternative to getting smashed. Hence, a blog that explores the high and low art of teetotaling in the urban environment.
Who I'd like to meet: bloggers, brooklynites and people with good ideas for things to do
Thanks for your support for WPS1.org. Unfortunately, the project has been discontinued, but if you liked WPS1, there’s a new internet radio station run by many of the same people called Art International Radio (ArtonAir.org) that has access to most of WPS1’s archived content. It’s all free, it’s all on demand; take a look.
