Yoshi J got his name after being dubbed by Nu Foundation because of his style is similar to that of the legendary hardcore producers Jimmy J and Justin Time, on top of that, not wanting to be confused for DJ Yoshi, a hard trance and acid producer. Yoshi J, also known as "teh yoshi", is an American happy hardcore producer for about 3 years, but isn't very prolific at it, having only a handful songs under his belt thus far. Using only Fruity Loops 7 and various software, he yearns to mimic the sound of 1996 - 2000 cheesecore. His main goal is to try and bring the sound of the old skool back into the scene and keeping the love for happycore alive, putting the "happy" back into "happy hardcore!"
