In the realm of todays rap industry where lollipop, ringtone raps are prominent and dominant, there lies the question, "where are the lyrical rappers?" TeKBlaZe is here to answer that question.
TeKBlaZe a.k.a. FranKie BenJaMinZ began listening to rap at an early age, and acquired a taste for rhymes only of the top tier. Listening to legends such as Jay-Z, Notorious B.I.G., The LOX, Nas, Busta Rhymes, Cam'ron, Big L, and Onyx influenced Tek to sharpen his rhyme skills to battle and outshine other rappers he came across. Soon after, young Tek began gaining the recognition and respect of other rappers and Tek joined the rap crew Paper Chasers. Tek along with PC recorded countless songs to industry and original beats which gained a buzz with rap fans who enjoy quality hip-hop.
In 2006 Tek met Lailo, founder of New Breed Recordz and they quickly became friends respecting one another's musical talents. With similar visions of taking over the rap game, Lailo extended Tek an offer to join New Breed Recordz as a key member of his crew which Tek accepted.
Now representing both Paper Chasers & New Breed, TeKBlaZe is ready to put pressure on the game with his signature witty metaphors, versatile flow, gritty voice, and a desire to show that he brings something to the game that has been missing for a long time. "I just bring it back for niggas man. I bring it back to the days when niggas lyrics mattered, and you cared about what you was sayin. I dont know what these other niggas doin, but when you see the name TeKBlaZe you know you about to hear some hot shit."
