Thirteen-year-old singing sensation Telana Nicole is a true triple threat. She’s kept herself busy by appearing in 3 feature films, 3 television pilots, 6 commercials, 11 plays, 10 shorts and many print campaigns. Telana is a driven, goal-oriented little girl who, in addition to maintaining a 3.5 GPA, is a BMI-registered songwriter and WGA-registered screenwriter.
Telana’s music combines her positive outlook, big dreams and big voice with a soulful, bubbly pop sound that makes the tweens want to dance while their parents sing along. With her positive, believe-in-yourself, follow-your-dreams and have a good time lyrics, Telana’s appeal crosses generations and cultures. She takes pride in her rich multicultural heritage, which includes Puerto Rican, Portuguese, Eastern European, Hawaiian, Filipino, French and American Indian.
In her song, “Have a Nice Day” which she co-wrote at age ten, she reminds her peers to stay positive no matter what obstacles come their way. On “Gonna Have a Good Time” and “Let’s Go Crazy” she plays the fun-loving friend to a T. Although Telana gets serious with the environmentally-conscious “Train of Love (Earth Day),” she does it in such a dance-party way that it really motivates today’s youth to make good choices for a better tomorrow.
When Telana’s not busy following her dreams or in school, she’s a typical little girl who enjoys reading, swimming, traveling and playing with her friends and dog Ziggy.

There once was a king who offered a prize to the artist who would paint the best picture of peace. Many artists tried. The king looked at all the pictures. But there were only two he really liked, and he had to choose between them.
One picture was of a calm lake. The lake was a perfect mirror for peaceful towering mountains all around it. Overhead was a blue sky with fluffy white clouds. All who saw this picture thought that it was a perfect picture of peace.
The other picture had mountains, too. But these were rugged and bare. Above was an angry sky, from which rain fell and in which lightning played. Down the side of the mountain tumbled a foaming waterfall. This did not look peaceful at all.
But when the king looked closely, he saw behind the waterfall a tiny bush growing in a crack in the rock. In the bush a mother bird had built her nest. There, in the midst of the rush of angry water, sat the mother bird on her nest - in perfect peace.

"Because," explained the king, "peace does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. Peace means to be in the midst of all those things and still be calm in your heart. That is the real meaning of peace."

Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived: Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all of the others, including Love. One day it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink, so all constructed boats and left. Except for Love.
Love was the only one who stayed. Love wanted to hold out until the last possible moment.
When the island had almost sunk, Love decided to ask for help.
Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat. Love said, "Richness, can you take me with you?" Richness answered, "No, I can't. There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There is no place here for you."
Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel. "Vanity, please help me!" "I can't help you, Love. You are all wet and might damage my boat," Vanity answered.
Sadness was close by so Love asked, "Sadness, let me go with you." "Oh . . . Love, I am so sad that I need to be by myself!"
Happiness passed by Love, too, but she was so happy that she did not even hear when Love called her.
Suddenly, there was a voice, "Come, Love, I will take you." It was an elder. So blessed and overjoyed, Love even forgot to ask the elder where they were going. When they arrived at dry land, the elder went her own way. Realizing how much was owed the elder,
Love asked Knowledge, another elder, "Who Helped me?" "It was Time," Knowledge answered. "Time?" asked Love. "But why did Time help me?" Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom and answered, "Because only Time is capable of understanding how valuable Love is."
