Our influences are wide ranged and vary greatly. We all come from a Rock background, but we all are influenced by different genres of Rock n Roll. We try to be our own influences so we can truly develope our own style.
It was in Early Autumn (sounds like a potential band name for those of you who are in need) that the beginning incarnation of TelApathy was formed. In the beginning, there was Nothing. But as time progressed, Nothing became Zach Christensen, Eric Rainey, and Vito jamming together for the first time. There was obviously a strong connection between these three, but there seemed to be something missing. The missing pieces fell into place as Louis Haddad and Joseph...I don't know Joseph's last name...joined the group. Practice began for the young group who remained nameless until New Year's Eve of 2006. They started out with covers of great songs such as "Far Behind" (Candlebox), "Alive" (Pearl Jam), and "Cumbersome" (Seven Mary Three). Soon after the band's first concert on New Year's Eve, they realized that drugs weren't a positive thing to bring into the group and thus, Joseph was asked to leave.
After a slight mourning period over the loss of the band's lead singer, the band re-wrote their first original song entitled "Sleuthpaste". The song was well received until people got so fucking tired of it, even the writer started to hate it. So, more songs came and there was this sticky stuff everywhere. After cleaning it up, the band wrote even more. And then more. After writing like 85,000 songs (really like 3 songs) the band got it's first gig since the departure of Joseph in the form of a choir concert at their school. They fit right in. (They didn't really fit in at all.) This concert brought on another request for them to play at an art show.
More songs were written and more gigs came until our heroes finally got some time at Doc Rock's recording studio. The demo made there was distributed amongst TelApathy's peers and becam an utter and complete success. The band was praised for their innovative sound (to this day, not one particular genre has been able to stick to their agenda) and their superior ability to play their instruments. The band continues to progress as musicians, songwriters, and supporters of music. With each new riff, a new story is told and a new heart is touched by the insightful lyrics, driving bass lines, insane drumming, incredible guitar solos, and soaring vocals. The band vows to continue their work in hopes that they can change someone's life or perhaps even the world. If four guys from Liverpool can do it, so can four guys from Biloxi.
