i live in vienna, austria.
there's nothing special about me. i have a wonderful partner who keeps me happy, friends i love to hang out with, i love music, books, my job and outdoor activities.
i'm a hobby musician, i play guitar, bass, a bit mandolin and banjo.

i'm a fan of joe strummer (one of those famous telecaster players!)
i'm absolutely not into hero worshipping. i don't know how he was in person but with his msuic and lyrics he strongly influenced my thinking and my way to approach things. and i have gotten on well with almost every other joe strummer fan i ever met. in my eyes it's a fantastic achievement if you bring totally different people together. thanks for that, joe!
i am happy that from early on i had the opportunity to travel around most of europe and on a few occasions to africa and america and to meet people from all over the world. this gave me a global perspective - something a few people around unfortunately lack.
i love the alps near my hometown (their last extensions terminate at the outskirts of vienna in the form of roving hills) and as often as i can i go trekking. here are a few pics of a winter trip i made last year
