TELEPOD EN -C M -PRESENTANDO " LA OSCURIDAD"
Banda formada en el noviembre del 2001 con músicos de gran trayectoria en la escena local under.
• Walter” chino” laborde, cantor, cantante, participó de la agrupación PLASTA, (Con músicos de PEZ y TINTOREROS) Y es hoy la voz de la ORQUESTA TIPICA FERNANDEZ FIERRO.
• Mauro “RUDA”, (guitarrista, compositor) grabó tres discos con la agrupación HERMES (1994-2000).
• Marcelo “HUESO” Casañas y Diego “SANDIA” Levit, los dos músicos que completan la formación (en bajo y batería).
Después de casi dos años de ensayo, la banda debuto el 16 de mayo del 2003 en el codo.
Ese mismo año editaron con el sello popart, su “EP” “EL SECRETO ES LA MIXTURA”.
Compartieron escenarios en reiteradas y diferentes ocasiones con bandas como, CABEZONES, MASACRE, CARAJO, CATUPECU MACHU, FLAVIO Y LA MANDINGA, Y OTROS.
En el QUILMES ROCK 2003, presentaron su EP (durante la noche de CAFETACUBA.) y en la edición 04, con MOLOTOV. En diciembre del mismo, año compartieron su show en “¿CUAL ES? (ROCK AND POP) CON DIVIDIDOS, También en laboulaye (2006).
En el año 2005 terminan de componer y grabar su primer disco titulado TELEPOD.
Conteniendo 10 nuevas canciones, acerca de la relación, mundo-hombre-antes y después, donde interactúan la tecnología con lo vintage, y la potencia con la canción.
Este álbum, editado en marzo del 2006 fue presentado en the roxy en octubre del 2007.
El mismo año se hicieron presentes en el marco del festival pepsi music.
Entre diciembre 07 y abril 08 TELEPOD graba su segundo álbum titulado
MIL DIVANES
El mismo contiene diez canciones, entre ellas una versión de HUELLAS EN EL MAR, de Charly garcía, y una grabación encontrada de (Ando solo) tema de la banda, que fue ejecutado por única vez y grabado en vivo en un Púb porteño.
El CD fue grabado en los estudios Big buddha, y producido por Mauro Ruda (guitarrista compositor)
La idea primordial fue mantener y estampar en formato CD la potencia que la banda desenvuelve en vivo, la carismática y particular interpretación del Chino laborde, que marca su huella en cada uno de los 10 temas, le devuelve al rock nacional, el carácter de front man, y originalidad olvidados allá en los años ochenta con personajes como Moura, y Miguel abuelo entre otros. Con la producción de los sonidos maquinosos filosos punteos, y bases sólidas TELEPOD esta armado y preparado para salir con los botines de punta.
Al escuchar el disco de TELEPOD, se revelan casi diez sesiones de terapia, de aquí el nombre.

Band formed in November 2001, with musicians of great trajectory in the local under scene.
• Walter” chino” laborde, singer, main vocals, once part of the mythic group PLASTA, (with musicians from PEZ and TINTOREROS) is nowadays the voice of the Tango orchestra "ORQUESTA TIPICA FERNANDEZ FIERRO".
• Mauro “RUDA”, (guitar player, composer) recorded three albums with group HERMES (1994-2000).
• Marcelo “HUESO” Casañas and Diego “SANDIA” Levit, both musicians that complete the band (bass and drums).
After almost two years of rehearsing as a group, the band had its debut on May 16, at "el codo". On that same year, they released, under the label "popart", their EP “EL SECRETO ES LA MIXTURA” (THE SECRET IS THE MIXTURE).
They have shared stages in many and different opportunities with renowned bands. To name a few, CABEZONES, MASACRE, CARAJO, CATUPECU MACHU, FLAVIO Y LA MANDINGA, and others.
At the festival QUILMES ROCK 2003, they presented their EP (during the night of CAFETACUBA's performance) and in the 2004 edition, with MOLOTOV. On December 2004, they shared a gig with DIVIDIDOS at the radio show“¿CUAL ES? (ROCK AND POP) , as well as in Laboulaye (2006).
In 2005 they completed to compose and record their first LP named TELEPOD.
Including 10 new songs referring to the links between the concepts world/man/after/before, where new techs and the vintage concept interact , giving birth to a very powerfull breed of songs.
This album, released in March 2006, was played for the first time at "ROXY", in October 2007.
On the same year they performed at the PEPSI MUSIC festival.
Between December 2007 and April 2008, TELEPOD records its second album named MIL DIVANES.
This album contains ten songs, among them a cover version of Charly Garcia's HUELLAS EN EL MAR, and a found tape (Ando solo) song composed by the band, and recorded live at a pub, the only time this song was performed live.
The CD was recorded at studios Big buddha, and produced by Mauro Ruda (Guitar player and composer).
The main idea was to preserve in the shape of a recorded album, all the strenght and power that the band irradiates on stage. The charisma and particular style of singer Walter CHINO Laborde, who prints his singular mark in each one of the 10 songs, brings back to our memory the icon of a real front man, reminding us - precisely for this- unforgettable singers such as Moura and Miguel Abuelo. The kind and quality front man that we are no longer used to enjoy very often.
With machine-like sounds, sharp guitar solos, and solid bases, TELEPOD lights a spark that's sure to signify a bright future for this band.
