Quotes about Telos
"I am loving Modify.dance.move and it has a nice ambient/new york noise quality to it"(Gemma Winter,Disorder Magazine"
"12 Tracks,22 minutes.Thats more like it.Telos is clearly not here to hand out sweets. Nightend is a collection of experimental snapshots from one possible future, a dark meditation that just might be about the enslavement of mankind by machines or the dislocation of urban communities in the 21st Century.Doesnt really matter what I think its about,it's still ace.Doom-laden electronica, dissonance and fractured vocals."
(Ross Harley-Narc. Magazine)
"Ear-botting concoction of fluttering tones, bashing digital humpage, lo-fi electronica and unhip northern poetry that will simultaneously confuse and delight. Totally off the wall... really damn fine" (Alt Vinyl)
"Telos sounds like one man’s fight with electronica nightmares, a furthest cry from Phil Oakey’s over produced commerically successful electronic dreams"(Terry Lane-Buzzin Electronica Music)
"If you like dark, heavy brooding experimental analogue abstractions, this is for you." (Terry Lane-Buzzin Electronica Music)
"Ian Todd’s voice is used sparingly among analogue sound, waves and movements in the most experimental form, like a soundtrack to a lo-fi dark sci-fi b-movie.Words are spoken as a poet not a vocalist and the songs mainly rely of frequencies rather than beats" (Terry Lane-Buzzin Electronica Music)
"Just stop now... Put away your guitars, go back to your bedrooms, lock yourselves in and listen to Stockhausen,Trevor Wishhart and Steve Reich as well as some deranged techno and the sound of your own mental demise, emerge in ten years or so and make an album as good as this from local sonic experimentalist Telos. We DARE you!" (Eddie Argos-Pilot Magazine)
"This remix album is an incredibly enjoyable album. Usually with the likes of most “Noise” or “IDM” artist the tracks are to long and just to much to stomach. But Telos uses noise to his advantage and keeps thing smooth and free flowing and nice and short as well. If you like a little feedback and zonky samples give this one a download because it is excellent.

Whoah mama! Telos is a North-east based electro artist and this electronic noise frightmare sounds like it has been recorded on equipment the size of jumbo jets(in a nice way).Big whoozy funnels of mashed up sound are somehow transfigured into something that approaches making sense:Like someone trying to tame white noise.Dirty beautiful.
(Rob Mendes,The Crack Magazine)
"The distorted beats come thick and fast, often going at about 300 bpm or more. ‘Saturday Night Suicide’ offers brief respite, with some nice tones and beat-less melodies. Then it's straight back to the white noise drill'n'bass. "
(Alex Barbanneau,High Voltage)
" Veering from Gatling gun beats, to on the edges of memory electronic lullabies. There’s the odd diversion into something approaching a groove but this is mainly hardcore ricochet-style stuff, and fans of razor sharp noise will be in their element".(Rob Mendes,The Crack Magazine)

"blending low-level hip-hop beats with Scorn-esque bass and elonated guitar riffs to remarkable effect. . . it's that awesome. . . the music is superb, the artwork and packaging equally good. . . [it's] warped shuffling genius. 300% necro, foo'! (5/5)" (Zero Tolerance magazine).
