The Telstar Sound Drone is part of the Copenhagen based artist-group,"Les Après L'amour Sonnes".
In the spring of 2007, Tiring from maintaining numerous projects of different form, Hans Beck formed Les Après Lamour Sonnes .
With the philosophy to base everything on a lose lineup and to recruit people with different abillities when needed, depending on the life of the projects, Les Après L'amour Sonnes set out to contain every creative output under one banner.
Soon Mads Saaby, with whom he had been writing and playing music with for quite a while, joined up to focus on the music part.
In 2008, after tripping Europe, long time friend Mads Løwe joined and they sat out to do some gigs. The trio quickly evolved to a fourpiece, with the assistance of Sean Jardenbæk at live shows.
Soon it became clear that the music- and art part needed different names to make them more recognizable and sustainable. The music part was thereby given the name "The Telstar Sound Drone".
In 2009 The Telstar Sound Drone released a 5-track, selftitled and strictly diy EP, with recordings made during the past year, at various appartments and rehersalspaces.
In the late summer of 2009 Mads Saaby quit the lineup.
The Telstar Sound Drone is currently recording material for what most likely is going to be some kind of release of a playable media.
The Telstar Sound Drone, refuses to be categorized by genres and likewise, and intend to do, and work with, exactly what they want.
