Trust. Loyalty. Respect. Those three words mean everything to me. It's what I live by, and it's what I expect from my friends. I can be opinionated, but I'm also open-minded. I'm a firm believer that we all have something to contribute to this world. I admire people who take the road less traveled or a life path that is not easy. I believe that every day is a learning experience; we're all students in this daily journey called life.

I am the proud daughter of a man who served 32 years honorably in the United States Navy. When he was alive, he instilled in me a strong love for this country. In other words, I was patriotic when patriotism wasn't cool.

My political leanings are mixed. Many liberals think I'm too conservative, and many conservatives think I'm too liberal. At this writing, I have one basic litmus test: any politician who does not support and/or shows disrespect toward our military forces and their families will NOT get my vote.

The MySpace networking options are a little limited. I am a writer, but I use my blog The Mundling Zone so that I have the freedom to write what I want to. I feel our current media is too irresponsible in what's being reported today. Innocent people's privacies and truthful interpretations are being compromised under the guise of "The public has a right to know." I am a firm believer in freedom of speech, but with that comes responsibility.

In addition, I have a soft spot for abused and abandoned animals, and I would like to show support for animal welfare organizations (reputable groups like ASPCA or Humane Society of the United States). I am the webmistress for our local animal shelter Okefenokee Humane Society, an independent, non-profit group that tirelessly works to rescue and/or find homes for various animals.
