    It's Karaoke Night Saturday 7th November

    .. A Big Thank You to all for helping to raise €1200 for the Angkor Hospital for Children in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Also thank you to those who provided prizes for the raffle.........you know who you are.

    A huge congratulations to Ireland for finally winning the Six Nations Rugby Grand Slam after a wait of sixty one years........and so we have the results of the Temple Bar Rugby Tournament.and with 52 different squads that meant €520 to be won.
    It was very close between both first and second place and it was only decided by the difference in points and tries scored by Ireland as all other scores were the same

    Ireland won the Championship with 121 points and 10 tries scored

    In first place winning €260 and scoring for Ireland 151 points and 15 tries........... Papatolaives In second place winning €156and scoring for Ireland 155 points and 17 tries.........Multi Scorgasms And the third place, winning €104 along with the winner of the wooden spoon will be decided by lotto.

    Thank you all for making this a very memorable Six Nations Tournament and for supporting Ireland on their way to winning the Six Nations Rugby Championship.

    The Six Nations Rugby Championship is here again and this time you too can get involved.
    We are having a competition for all you rugby supporters and also for those whom are new to the sport. So create a team of no more than 4 people, give it a (stupid, cool, funny) name and select the team to win the Six Nations and the team that gets the "Wooden Spoon"...........and you could win loads of money.......plus a round of beer!!!!!!!!!!!
    It's €10 per team so the more teams that enter the more money you could win!!!!!!!!!!!
    To sign up for the competition or for more information drop in to the pub.
    Closing date is Saturday 7th Feb 16.00......Just before England V Italy
    Teams will also be accepted via email but payment must be made before the first match!!!!

    Temple Bar in the center of Bolzano, in the very north of Italy, is a Genuine Irish Pub. Opened since Halloween 2006 it has become the number one all round venue in Bolzano. We have Live Music at the weekends or when possible and Karaoke ever first Saturday of the month. With Sky Sports all the major sporting events are shown on the big screen.

    Temple Bar has also become famous in Bolzano for makng the the best Sambo's in town such as BLTs and Club sandwiches and our locals will testify to us having the best Guinness in town, coming direct from Dublin.

    We welcome all musicians....we have an open policy here.....you have an instrument, then you can play here....Since our customers are a mix of all nationalities and the usual local nutball, we pretty much welcome everybody. As one punter said "when you enter the beer garden of Temple
    Bar you are no longer in Bolzano"

    We would also like to say a Big Thank You to all those who helped raise €1000 for charity on St Patricks Day.

    €500 was donated to the Friends Without A Border charity who support the Angkor Hospital for Children in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
    The remaining €500 was donated to the Associazione Verin. An association based in Bolzano which provides support for women and children whom have suffered from domestic violence.
