Well, where do we start.....Eddie and I first said hello to eachother at the Bombsquad in Hollywood where I was finishing up my Muay Thai class and he was just getting to the gym to teach Jiu Jitsu. We ran into eachother a couple of times, but never really spoke again until the gym had moved over to Legends MMA in Hollywood. At this point I had seen his profile on myspace and in passing, I said to him "I didn't know you were a musician?" So of course, for anyone who knows Eddie, he'll just start going off about the music cos that's his true passion. He ran to his car and got me a c.d. of Compella and the Twister (which I totally dug). In chatting for a bit, he learned that I was a singer/songwriter who played guitar and piano as well. I currently had my own band with my own original stuff but was interested in finding someone to write some different material with. I was itchin to really rock out so I was searching for someone who wrote edgier music that I could write to. He was searching for a female vocalist/songwriter. We both thought, Naahhhh, there's no way that what we were both looking for would just show up randomly in our faces at the gym. We figured that usually when people you meet tell you they are musicians or singers, most likely they suck, so we didn't think too much about it. Eventually we decided to jump into his studio and lay down a few tracks just to see what would happen. It took us a couple of times, or should I say it took me a couple of times to feel comfortable enough to just freestyle to his music while singing into the mic, and plus I thought he was crazy. :) It was a little different then I had ever worked cos I was so used to writing alone. Once I got out of my head and just sang, we finally finished a song. We weren't really sure until we listened to it later and though Dammmmmnn this is a bad ass song. So we continued with our studio sessions just to make sure that we didn't just get lucky. Neither of us were prepared for the monster that has now been brewing for the past 6 months. Since then, we've been pumpin rockin songs out and in the meantime have gained an incredible friendship that will no doubt last forever. We just finished our 5 song demo and we're stoked. People are lovin it and it's the best feeling in the world. What more could we want??? We'll be back in the studio soon to attack the rest of the album. If anyone wants a demo, message us with your address and we'll send ya one free!!!! Rock on. M & E
