Sounds Like
I'll let others decide what my music sounds like. Just don't take the easy way out by comparing me to other bands or artists. There are so many wonderful adjectives out there.
myspace-html-layout.com!Welcome and thanks for checking out my space on my space. Please listen to my songs. I'll be changing them up from time to time.
I'm originally from South Bend, Indiana. I've been living in Chicago since 1995. Before that, there was a stop off in Atlanta for a few years and before that, I was in Miami attending the University of Miami Music School for music business. I went to Interlochen Arts Academy for high school and studied classical voice and piano. That's it for the legit stuff.
I live with my husband, Vijay, who is also a musician (he's one of my friends on myspace so check out his page as well), my three cats and the newest addition to my family, Ellora. I had Ellora on January 27, 06. She is a very beautiful baby girl. Currently, I am knocked up with baby 2. Needless to say, this is slowing down the recording process a bit.
I'm a working musician in Chicago. I have my own band that does a lot of corporate and wedding events (www.rhapsodyorchestra.com). I also freelance for other bands and teach voice and piano and the Old Town School of Folk Music. Vijay is producing my CD which the songs on this page will be included on. It's been a very slow moving process to complete the CD. Hopefully it will someday be finished. It's in Vijay's hands.
I'm also attending grad school part time at the University of Illinois, Chicago for Urban Planning. Someday, I might have a real job. Imagine that. I figure, at the age of 37, I'm well beyond any hopes of success in the pop industry. I could always move to Europe....???
Later.....
