2011 saw the release of the band's second full length studio album 'Scratches & Scars' to critical acclaim. Preceeding the album the band released a 30 second single 'Thirty Seconds Too Far' in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust garnering media support with the likes of Radio 1, Xfm, BBC wm, BRMB & Kerrang Radio. Big name support shows including SUM 41, BAD RELIGION, PENNYWISE have stoked interest and a recent european summer sold out tour with the almighty RISE AGAINST have seen the band explode to a new level. New sci-fi video for "Break The Habit" is currently doing the rounds on all decent music channels and the track is available for free from the band's website www.templetonpekofficial.com. "Scratches & Scars sways between earnest mid-pacers and fired up, faster numbers that spring forth with a cross to bear and a point to prove." KERRANG! MAGAZINE "A high-octane affair rammed to the gills with soaring vocal melodies, unshakeable choruses and relentless energy...Templeton Pek are proving one of Britain's brightest prospects. Don't let this pass you by. " METAL HAMMER MAGAZINE "All punk rock spirit and modern rock heft, these meaty tunes are destined to inspire a million raised fists and bursting lungs." ROCK SOUND MAGAZINE 2010 saw the band take on producing roles to complete the recording of their second studio album. It also saw them tour the UK twice as support to punk legends GOLDBLADE and Epitaph's STORY OF THE YEAR. In May the band released 'Barriers' as a free download and claimed 'Single Of The Week' by Kerrang! Radio. 2009 saw TP expand and switch their touring gaze upon mainland Europe, with 3 massive tours supporting Germany's pop punk titans ITCHY POOPZKID, co-headlining with Austria's biggest selling punk band 3 FEET SMALLER and opening for Epitaph's welsh crew THE BLACKOUT across no less than 9 countries. This year also saw the inclusion of 'Red_Lights_Flash' on the soundtrack to the No 2 charting COLIN McCRAE: THE DIRT 2 console game on Xbox360, PS3 and Wii. Alongside the likes of BIFFY CLYRO, RISE AGAINST, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, SCARS ON BROADWAY and YOU ME AT SIX. The band were also selected to participate in a campaign to promote legal downloading by drinks giant COCA-COLA. -
