Unapologetically built heavily on a punk DIY ethic, Templeton Pek are a band that manages to avoid trends and scenes, yet somehow still be relevant and fit effortlessly alongside bands from any genre of rock, and at any stature. The band hailing from Birmingham England, released their Debut album 'No Association' in a staggered effect; in Japan (Pyropit Records) in 2007, UK (Small Town Records) in 2008 and in Europe on Long Beach Records early 2009. The album which was recorded and co-produced by Joe Gibb (FFAF, Million Dead) was received with critical acclaim...

The band also boasts Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson as a supporter with airplay on his BBC 6 Music Rock show, proclaiming the album as "...an excellent album with razor sharp nuggets." The singles 'If All Else Fails' and 'No Association' with their accompanying videos racked up airplay from MTV2, BBC 6Music, XFM, Kerrang Radio, BBC WM, Scuzz, Rockworld and many more.
A seasoned touring live band, TP have hundreds of shows under their prospective belts. Ranging from Arena shows on the Taste Of Chaos and Give It A Name tours (with some of the biggest bands around Killswitch Engage, Rise Against, FFAF, The Used, Alexisonfire, Tacking Back Sunday ), to full UK tours as main support to All time Low, Zebrahead, No Use For a Name, Millencolin and Mindless Self Indulgence . The latter being a sell out main room Academy tour. These high profile shows twinned with a relentless work ethic of touring their own headline and club shows, give the band a unique appeal to mainstream and underground audiences alike.
2009 saw TP expand their touring coverage across Europe. In February the band supported the giant German pop-punk band Itchy Poopzkid in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, climaxing at the legendary Stuttgart LKA venue to over 1,000 people. October saw a co-headline tour in Germany and Austria with Austria’s biggest selling punk band 3 Feet Smaller. And in December TP support welsh crew The Blackout in Luxembourg, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Czech Republic.
This year also saw the band expand into the video game market, with inclusion on the awesome soundtrack to the No. 2 selling video game Colin McCrae's The Dirt 2 on all platforms, with 1.5 million sales forecast. Also 'No Association' was selected to take part in a European promotion for drink giants Coca-Cola , promoting legal downloading.
With massive sponsors already pledging their support like Monster Energy Drinks, DC shoes and clothing and Jagermeister , 2010 sees the band scheduled to record their as-yet-untitled sophomore release. Already at pre-production stage, two tracks 'Made To Waste' and 'Red_Lights_Flash' can be heard on this MySpace, the self produced demos give an exciting incite of the bands direction for album 2.
