Formed on Cinco de Mayo 2006, members of the band Hollow Point (Matt - Drums, Ken - Guitar) joined up with Mike (Vocals) and Matty D. (Bass) to play a show at H2O in Newport, RI in honor of Mike's brother Rob being sent to Iraq. The response at the show was so massive that it clearly could not be a one-off gig for the band. Since that summer, Ten-8 has been gigging in southern Rhode Island on a regular basis. Their incredibly energetic live show, containing such classics as "Sweet Home Alabama" and "Livin' On A Prayer," and modern hits like "Steady As She Goes" and "Crazy Bitch," has earned Ten-8 a steadily growing fan base, resulting in capacity crowds at every show. A weekend in Newport would not be complete without heading down to the bar and rockin' out with Ten-8!
