Tenebrarum Infanteus is a French electro-industrial band, created in Paris in 2004 by S.T and JiM-NK. After several changes in the line-up, TI found its final composition at the beginning of 2007, which was a turning point in the band's history. Indeed, the band – who was in a rather black metal style – turned toward programming and electronics and released in September 2007 their first EP : Addiction, welcomed by the press. Tenebrarum Infanteus offers a mix of electro and industrial music supported by strong guitar riffs and distinguishes itself by the presence of a masculine/feminine duet capable of important vocal variations, leading to great musical diversity. The originality of Tenebrarum Infanteus resides in two places : the hybridisation of several musical styles such as black metal, EBM, electronic, industrial and rock music, and by the use of French lyrics. Building on this identity, the musicians bettered themselves on stage, performing in several venues in the Paris area (La Scène Bastille, Le Klub…) and in Province (La Barakason and the Live Factory in Nantes), allowing them to share the scene with bands like Tamtrum, Obszon Geschopf and Krystal System. Since March 2009, they have entirely dedicated themselves to the composition of their first album. "Sous les Cendres" will be available in december 2010.
