TennisReporters.net is one of the top American tennis news sites. We cover the the professional tennis tours – ATP & WTA – with original reporting, commentary, newsletters, scoops and exclusives. We don't post the same "wire" stories that most other tennis sites pass off as new material. All our stories are exclusively written for our site by full-time tennis journalists.
Matthew Cronin is a co-owner and our principal writer. He is also well known as the managing editor of Inside Tennis magazine and co-president of the International Tennis Writers Association. He also contributes on a regular basis to foxsports.com and usta.com. Matt has written for all four Grand Slam sites and and does radio commentary for usopen.org and rolandgarros.com.
We are the only website to win the national USTA Media Excellence Award. It was awarded to us in 2003 in the Broadcast category.
Co-owner Ron Cioffi is our webmaster and contributes writing and photography. He is also president of KRC Communications. He has contributed to Tennis, Inside Tennis, TennisLife magazines and had done numerous graphic design projects for USTA Southern Section and USTA Georgia. He is also a member of the USTA Southern Section Public Relations Committee.
Contributing writers include Chris Bowers of the BBC, Doug Robson of USA Today, Sandra Harwitt, a former partner in the site, and numerous other full-time tennis writers.
