Tennyson's Interests

General	Aside from making and watching movies, I love theater, biking, raw foods, trying new things, doing stuff the hard way, and developing myself in every manner I can muster. Space exploration is something I'm passionate about, and I'm a fierce romantic.
Movies	Right now, the top ten are 2001: A Space Odyssey, Solaris, Lawrence of Arabia, Fanny & Alexander, City Lights, Star Wars, The Third Man, Autumn Sonata, Lord of the Rings, and Citizen Kane. Two films that tortured me in making that list are The Last Laugh and Aliens. As for my favorite moviegoing experiences, the top five are Return of the Jedi with my Mom on my 5th birthday, Solaris (Tarkovsky's) at the Nuart with Clea, Primer at the Nuart with Shane Carruth, The Fifth Element opening night in Hadley MA with Joe, and lastly, There Will Be Blood, New Years Eve '08 at the Cinerama Dome.
Books	The Screenwriter's Workbook by Syd Field, Making Movies by Sid Lumet, The Plays of William Shakespeare, Plato's Republic, and beyond that I just love to read. Gamewise, White Wolf's Aeon Trinity is far and away my favorite tabletop RPG. Werewolf: the Apocalypse gave me a taste for epic storytelling, and is probably the reason I love actors as much as I do. Naturally, I also have an irrational love for AD&D 2nd Edition, and all things Forgotten Realms in particular.

About me:
Mine is a thrilling, tangled history, involving a sacred boarding school experience, state collegiate education, lots of space exploration and conversely, lots of theater. My arrival in Los Angeles was in November 2001.

Making movies is how I play. Our world is full of experience, and gathering it around something I wrote to give it life... it's like atomic fusion. It's raw creative force, used implosively to forge something crackling and primal and new.

Of course, I have other goals and interests - but I doubt I'll ever stop telling stories...
