The Tenebrous Liar spent a few days recording their forthcoming album Jackknifed & Slaughtered at the Cedars near Nottingham last month with Richard Warren (Rich is currently locked in a cellar in Leicestershire mixing it). The album is due for release in January & will be preceded by a 7" single and Download on 7th September, The A side is called No Guiding Light, it's backed by their version of Lee Hazlewood's Think I'm Coming Down, Lee's version can be heard on his ace 1973 album Poet, Fool or Bum

Tenebrous Liar limited edition 4 track EP, Pretender released in November to coincide with their shows supporting Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds. Available in download format and on limited CD via mailorder from TV Records. The E.P. was mixed by Richard Warren best known for his work with Echoboy, Spiritualized and Soulsavers, who also plays on three of the songs.
