Electronic duo trained at the end of 2006 by Miriam Blanch (aka MIR), laptop and bass that plays, tries and manipulates directly and Jose M ª Perez-Flor (aka Synthetic Mouse), laptop.
They join in Seville, city in which they reside nowadays, after confirming your musical tastes and fulfilling some lucky enough "jam" of test, in which there go out to shine ,your preferences to the most atmospheric "noise", the digital minimalismo, the electroacústica and, definitively, for the musical ones of difficult traffic that need an a bit more awkward scout.
Since then they have not stopped being employed at the study, together or separately to give form and soul to this strange and exciting audible creature called TENSION Co.
Their methods compositivos are always digital, though the majority of the times depart from sonorous primary fountains, as field recordings of very diverse origin, or from some sound extracted of bass from Miriam after having being "ill-treated" and manipulated by objects of varied nature and texture like metals, wood, unexpected violin bows, hairdryers, instruments of wind, transistors etc. Etc. " Once we have the primary sound, pass to construct a sonorous architecture around it. We are passing to us the material that each one is composing on the previous thing and are creating caps, later we put it jointly in the essays ".
The tension music Co. is an environmental dark electronics and minibadly, ruidista and of increasing intensity. They manage to create strange and personal atmospheres that they hook and disconcert simultaneously. For your performances they arm themselves with two laptops and bass "represented" with Pd, (Pure Data) and haido with different objects and pedals of effects, with which they develop your music or non-musical, experimental, tense and hypnotic.
Dúo electrónico formado a finales de 2006 por Miriam Blanch (aka MIR), laptop y bajo (que toca, procesa y manipula en directo), y José Mª Pérez-Flor (aka Synthetic Mouse), laptop.
Se unen en Sevilla, ciudad en la que residen actualmente, tras contrastar sus gustos musicales y realizar algunas “jam” de prueba bastante afortunadas, en las que salen a relucir sus preferencias por el “noise” más atmosférico, el minimalismo digital, la electroacústica y, en definitiva, por las músicas de difícil tránsito que requieren una escucha un poco más comprometida.
Desde entonces no han parado de trabajar en el estudio, juntos o por separado para dar forma y alma a esta extraña y excitante criatura audible llamada TENSION Co. (Coeficiente de Tensión
Sus métodos compositivos son siempre digitales, aunque la mayoría de las veces parten de fuentes sonoras primarias, como grabaciones de campo de muy diversa procedencia, o de algún sonido extraído del bajo de Miriam tras haber sido “maltratado” y manipulado con objetos de variada índole y textura como metales, maderas, arcos de violín improvisados, secadores de pelo, instrumentos de viento, transistores etc. etc. “Una vez tenemos el sonido primario, pasamos a construir una arquitectura sonora en torno a él. Nos vamos pasando el material que cada uno va componiendo sobre lo anterior y vamos creando capas, posteriormente lo ponemos en común en los ensayos”.
La música de TENSION Co. es electrónica ambiental oscura y minimal, ruidista y de intensidad creciente. Consiguen crear extrañas y personales atmósferas que enganchan y desconciertan a la vez. Para sus actuaciones en directo se arman de dos laptops y un bajo “asistido” con Pd,(Pure Data) y tocado con diferentes objetos y pedales de efectos, con los cuales desarrollan su música o no-música, experimental, tensa e hipnótica.
