SOUTH EAST PERFORMER Magazine writes..."Local indie rock outfit Tentonic shot a video for their first single "Sterling" in Los Angeles recently. The quartet, who opened for Scottish breakout band The Cinematics in Sept, will continue riding the wave of their recent success with an east coast tour, hitting southeastern cities such as Chapel Hill and Nashville later this month".
(Oct '07 Edition)

ATLANTA MUSIC GUIDE writes..."The opening track "Sterling" begins with a steady, melancholy riff that floats in an airy dreamscape of reverb. The track, clocking in at a very Verve six minutes and 30 seconds, would sound right at home wedged somewhere between "Sonnet" and "Velvet Morning" on "Urban Hymns."...The following tracks do take some detours, but Tentonic is never far off from the more psychedelic side of Britpop. There are up-tempo romps reminiscent of The Charlatans, anthematic nods to The Doves, and even The Edge's signature guitar sound pops up for U2-inspired track "A New Land". So, it's no surprise then that SidWilson is in fact from the UK. Afterall, Tentonic doesn't merely wear their influences on their sleeve, they wave them high on union-jack striped flag and parade them through the city". (March '07 Edition)

SOUTH EAST PERFORMER Magazine writes..."The musical influences on Sterling may be obvious, but Tentonic’s superb execution is commendable. Any band can claim acts like The Verve as inspiration, but to match the sound so gracefully is really outstanding for a local, unsigned band. It also says a lot about the production quality of the record. Each track flows effortlessly, sounding perfectly polished without being over-produced." MICHELLE GILZENRAT (May '07 Edition)

PINE MAGAZINE writes... "Tentonic have quietly found a place in the Indie rock community of Atlanta, gaining respect from fellow musicians for their hard work in promotion, as well as their musicianship. Their set should be as exhilarating as always." KENNETH GAMBILL (July '07 Edition)

SOUTH EAST PERFORMER Magazine writes..."Tentonic’s charisma turned .. their amplifiers did. Each musician assumed a right-at-home stage presence, creating a sincerity that immediately made the band stand out." BRIAN GILTON (Aug '07 Edition)

CREATIVE LOAFING writes..."...with soaring, roaring melodies and Edge-like guitar, Atlanta's Tentonic has a sports arena-ready sound that just needs an arena". HAL HOROWITZ

FLAGPOLE writes..."This Atlanta four-peice plays Brit-leaning rock conjuring thoughts of The Verve and U2, with Oasissy yearning vocals."

COME PICK ME UP writes..."Tentonic is a fantastic band with an equally fantastic future ahead of them. Though "Face Down" is more of a straightforward pop/rock song, their debut EP Sterling certainly finds them more often in the realm of "shoegaze" and experimentation."
