About me: Teresa was hired by The Second City Toronto while still in university. After three award winning shows she decided to break out on her own and write a one woman show, Dumplings And Death. It had successful runs at The Toronto Fringe Festival, Tallulah’s Cabaret and at The New York International Fringe Festival.
Teresa performs her unique brand of character based comedy throughout Canada. She was chosen to perform in L.A. and New York as part of the Marshall’s Women in Comedy Festival. She has appeared at Just For Laughs and The Winnipeg Comedy Festival.
Her television credits include co-host of The Comedy Network launch and lead roles on many Canadian TV series. Teresa was nominated for a Gemini Award for her work on the History Channel series, HISTORY BITES, and was nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award for best improviser.
THE JANE SHOW, which she co-wrote, produced and starred in aired on Global Television and is currently on the W Network. She was nominated for a Gemini for her performance in the show as well as a Writer’s Guild Award for an episode she wrote.
Teresa joined forces with Jayne Eastwood, Deb McGrath, Kathryn Greenwood and Robin Duke to form Women Fully Clothed, an all female sketch troupe that has been selling out all over Canada as well as a successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe
