The much anticipated debut studio album, Say Something, by independent recording artist Teresa Peterson, was released October 2008. Recorded at the acclaimed underground Music Row studio, The Kosmodrome, Say Something was brought to life with the help of visionary producer/engineer/musician Adam Grey Stepp. The album has received air play on over 120 college and indie radio stations across the country. The single, "Atlanta", debuted as a top 5 new add and charted in the top 25 overall in multiple markets. .. .. .. Warmly received and well-respected in the Nashville performing songwriter community, Teresa found growing success in songwriting collaborations resulting in multiple independent cuts such as “Arizona” recorded by Patrick Collum and WIMMN award-winning song “Something’s Gotta Change” and "Waiting" recorded by Diana Rose. .. In the fall of 2007, Teresa accompanied New York City darling and co-writer, Ann Holly, in a spot tour culminating in a show at the famous Bitter End night club. In addition to playing shows on the road, Teresa also likes to keep busy doing session work for friends including lead and background vocals. .. Originally from Minneapolis, MN, Teresa made time for her alma mater the week of her cd release by playing for the Artist and Industry class at McNally Smith College of Music. She was able to share a Nashville style writer's round experience with the students at McNally, accompanied by her close friends and co-writers, Ann Holly and Diana Rose. .. After 3 years of living, writing and performing in Nashville, Teresa finds herself back in her home state of MN performing with her acoustic trio that includes husband/drummer/manager James Shackelford, and guitar player, Eric Plotts. ..
