Teresa is a singer and drummer from Staten Island, NY who has been performing in bands in the tri-state area for over 30 years. She’s also an accomplished chart reading drummer.
After many years of being just the drummer and back-up singer in the band, she branched out and started using her lead vocal abilities. In 2008 she recorded a pop/rock remake of the number 1 song by Lulu- To Sir with Love as well as a dance version put together by Angelo Venuto and a club mix by DJ Freddie Retro. After being in steady rotation on Long Island radio station 1100am WHLI,To Sir with Love was one of the Top 50 New Releases of 2008.
In June of 2009, she recorded and co-produced I Just fall in Love Again (on which she performed the drum track) and a duet with her brother Joey Figgiani You’re my everything also added to WHLI’s rotation. Teresa’s singles can also be heard on internet radio station www.IMRADIO.com and will be featured on www.crmk.co.uk in England on their mid-week music mix.
Teresa is currently performing with the Staten Island based duo group “The Sounds of Teresa & Tommy” and the band Sweet Temptation.
