Terho on viisimiehinen yhtye, jonka musiikillisena dynamona toimivat Teemu Ratisen ja Kai Kärjen kirjoittamat persoonalliset pop-laulut. Yhtyeen soitannollinen selkäranka rakentuu Tuomas Ratisen ryhdikkään rumpaloinnin ja Tatu Kettusen rockaavan bassonsoiton ympärille. Kylkiluina toimii kolmen kitaran rintama, josta soolokitaristi Lauri Hakanen välillä karkailee sfääreihin.
Useamman vuoden hiljaiseloa viettänyt yhtye on tekemässä paluuta, ja debyyttialbumi ”Kaupungit hiljenneet” julkaistaan vuonna 2009. Albumi tarjoilee 11 aistikasta melodiaa, joista on kuultavissa yhtyeen monipuolinen musiikkidiggailu, periksi antamaton pyrkimys kohti täydellistä pop-ilmaisua sekä albumin synnyttänyt pakoton ilmapiiri.

Terho is a five piece group, the musical dynamo of which are personal pop songs written by Teemu Ratinen and Kai Kärki. Tuomas Ratinen's vigorous drumming and Tatu Kettunen's rocking bass playing form the backbone of Terho's sound. The ribs consist of their three guitar front, from where solo guitarist Lauri Hakanen sometimes escapes into the spheres.
The band has kept quiet for several years, but is now making a comeback. The debut album ”Kaupungit hiljenneet” will be released in 2009. The album consists of 11 gracious melodies, that were born out of the band’s enthusiasm for popular music, their quest for a perfect pop song and the uncompelled atmosphere in which the album was conceived.
