About me: I'm a dark fantasy/horror writer. I've two novels published: THE VOID (Leisure Books, mass market paperback, OP) and SECRETS OF THE BONES (Wildside Press, hardcover and trade paper editions, order .. at www.amazon.com or www.shocklines.com). In addition, I've had more than two dozen short stories printed in various genre magazines and anthologies; such as, Horror Garage, Flesh & Blood Magazine, Surreal Magazine and forthcoming in Inhuman Magazine.
At the moment, I'm on a writing hiatus to pursue my master's in biogeography. I plan on saving the world in addition to entertaining it. :P
Other than that, I'm an enigmatic oxymoron.
Who I'd like to meet: Edgar Allen Poe--who'll do the seance?
I'll befriend weird people, fans/writers of horror/dark fantasy, freaks of the Industrial/EBM/Goth scene, the tattered, torn and tattoed, the scorned, the intelligent, the mystified and mysterious, clairvoyants and contortionists, artists of any kind but especially the dark kind...

My short story collection, A History of Sarcasm, is out at the end of October. More details on my website – www.frankburton.co.uk.
“The writer William Burroughs once called language “a virus from outer space”, and there’s a sense of that in A History of Sarcasm, where Burton holds words up to the sun and lets the light shine through them.”
