With one record under their belts, (No Destination, self-released 2003) Teri and Sara are fired up and excited to release their second album How We Resembled It All. A sweet selection of just seven songs, this EP is totally acoustic and recorded to resemble their on-stage performance: intimate, strong, and completely capturing. Each song was recorded in full from start to finish - no layering, no digital enhancing - it is songwriting and performing in its purest form, and it’s what this duo does best. Setting up a few microphones in the studio, Teri & Sara went through their set list and recorded everything in a couple of days in order to capture the most raw and honest performances. An eargerly anticipated, long awaited album sure to be worth the wait.
“folk-pop with strong arrangements and even stronger vocals.”

"...Terra knows how to weave a seamless, gorgeous web of soaring melody and harmony. ...From the earthy, acoustic guitar-driven polyrhythms of Terra's own original folk/rock tunes to it's unique, personal takes on others of the genre, the duo creates a shimmering, warm envelope of vocal interplay, delicately placed over the rock-steady guitar of Teri Payton. ...the buzz about them seems to grow with every new show."
- Statesman Journal, Salem, OR
"Earning a name for themselves touring throughout the Western United Sates, the duo is working to add folk music to Portland's standout roster. ...The impressive No Destination delivers the energy and creativity of years spent waiting to record an album of its depth and richness…this is one of those albums you want with you on a long drive. ...Adding to a certain quiet mystique, Terra's intimacy and respect for each other as people and as artists are evident on stage. They share an infectious enthusiasm for their music and performance, and their sincere enjoyment of one another is playfully aware."
- Just Out, Portland, OR
"Tightly woven harmonies and invigorating lyrics have become trademarks of this folk twosome. ...their debut CD, No Destination, is a skillfully produced recording with an ensemble of talented musicians."

I REALLY wanted to go to your show on Thursday, but everyone was busy. When I found out your mom/Janet went I was bummed. You probably sang October huh? DANGIT! Hope you guys had a good 4th.
Wow! That was totally awesome playing the show with you two last night... We love your songs, your harmonies... heck, we love everything about you! You're the best!
Thanks for the nice note! I know I'll see you guys perform eventually and because I will have waited so for it, it will be that much sweeter! Julie has said many good things and I look forward to meeting you...one day.
Hello Ladies! We missed you at Sam Bonds this weekend but hope you're feeling better. Please come back down to Eugene and play. It's been awhile since we've heard your live music. We'll keep our eyes open, or maybe we'll make a trip up to Ptown. When's the new album coming out? cheers!
hello lovelies! Great to meet you at Kym's big cd release. The red lights you refer to must have been the glow of my sunburn...!! Hope to connect in PDX! xo jean
Hey there! Skip gave me a copy of your record a few years back, and I listened to it a whole bunch -- like over and over -- really good stuff! Thanks for the add! Cheers, Lara
You're very kind. I just A) don't want to lose touch with such wonderful human beings, and B) don't want you to think we have forgot you. We haven't. We listen to your CD regularly, but not so regularly as to be stalkers. :) Just under that amount, whatever that amount is. :) And we hope you can meet Claire sometime. She's a doll.
