  • Bio

With the strong influences of traditional/ modern classical, jazz, england rock, pop, electronic and world music, Teriver's music seeks to push the envelope of music boundary. As a result his music refused to be classified in one genre. Even though he enjoys bringing risks and surpises into his music, the organic nature will always remain in his music. Please check out my music at www.myspace.com/terivercheung / www.nobodysbusinessgroup.com . Thanks for listening. "With Forward Momentum the wonderfully creative modern fusion group Nobody's Business establishes itself as one of the brightest new lights in the world of creative improvisation. The compositional sensibilities of Teriver Cheung, Evan Weiss, and Roberto Verastegui set the stage for a search towards a new musical sensibility: one that is firmly rooted in jazz tradition, but ever looking forward. And with the addition of vocals by Hildegunn Gjedrem and the tone-paintings of drummer Colin Hinton, Forward Momentum is a serious debut by a group that will no doubt be making it's voice heard for years to come." -- (Steve Wiest: Denton, Texas 2008) Killing CD! Cannily constructed tunes, beautiful recording, novel, organic and complete approach to orchestration, great mix, mature, creative playing, great artwork and layoout. Congratulations! -- (Bruce Saunders 2008) .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ...... Layout by ..CoolChaser.. .. .. ...... .. .. .. .. .. ..
