At one point or another we were influenced by the following - Crass, Rudimentary Peni, Venom, Bathory, Antisect, Amebix, Celtic Frost, The Accused, Voivod, Melvins, Slayer, Prong and a bunch of other racket.
Sounds Like
A bunch of drunks with substandard musical (?) instruments wandering aimlessly in different directions, bumping into walls and falling down the stairs. But not quite as organised as that.
No this is not a sign of some sad reunion or some such *, the
tattered ranks of D.I have not walked this earth for the past
15 years.
Seeing as Peaceville have finally just re-issued the old D.I albums
and there seems to be a general resurgence of interest in the
band I thought I'd cobble together a quick myspace profile, being
the myspace whore that I am.
There have been plans afoot for many a year to build a full D.I
website in which we will stick everything you never wanted to
know about the band. A digital scrapbook of everything we've hoarded.
But until I get off my lazy arse and give all the bits and bobs
to Snapa who is making it this will do as a stop gap.
