Clouds draw upon me,
And the sunlight fades away.
Winds stir my soul,
I'm lost in a storm for today.
Lightning crashes upon the earth,
Thunder echoes throughout the skies,
Rain strikes down with a blaze,
Washing away all these lies.
Aside from fearful strikes lightning,
The darkness rules for the day.
But maybe this absense of light,
Is all that allows me to stay.
Not lost in this storm,
But perfectly at home.
Such chaotic sounds and thoughts,
But at least they are my own......



Gusts of wind,
Creating hypnotic melodies,
Capture my mind,
By simply sliding through the trees.
Bursts of lightning,
Serve to remind,
That even a dark storm,
There is light to find.
Blasts of thunder,
Wake me from my nightmares,
And I hear a gentle voice,
Reminding me that some one cares.
