About me:
I grew up in Santa Ana, California, and studied illustration at Otis College of Art & Design. Following graduation, I landed work as a storyboard artist for Sony Animation and then went on to work as a freelance illustrator and storyboard artist for TV shows such as Fox’s “Bones” and films like “Into The Wild” directed by Sean Penn. I’ve also taught drawing and painting over the years.

My biggest artistic endeavor however - and the one for which I am most proud - is REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA , a
horror movie musical that I co-wrote with Darren Smith.

Photobucket

REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA began as a 10-minute opera performed in LA rock clubs, and then grew into a full-length play that’s traveled (and me with it!) to New York and Toronto, where we filmed the full-length REPO! Movie, produced and distributed by Twisted Pictures and Lions Gates Entertainment, staring Paul Sorvino, Sarah Brightman, Bill Moseley, Paris Hilton, and Anthony Stewart Head.

I’ve also been howling
"“Graaaaaaves!” as the character GraveRobber through the many incarnations of REPO!, including performing the role in the film.

Photobucket

My current project is
The Molting. This 12-part graphic novel is the portrait of a dysfunctional American family in the early ‘90’s. Set against a decaying urban landscape in Anaheim, CA, the so-called “Happiest Place On Earth”, the story traverses human history – from Upper Paleolithic hunting parties to Southern Gothic grotesqueries – to explore the family’s roots, secrets, and unconventional family bonds. The 1st and 2nd issues are now available at www.TheMoltingcomic.com.

Hey Terrance! I just wanted to say I had a blast getting to hang out with you at Zonacon. Also, thank you for signing my Repo! Blu-Ray and both issues of The Molting that I got that day. Speaking of, I read them both and can't wait for the rest. Hope to see you here in Florida again soon. - Adam

You know, I understand that you're really busy and all, but a reply back would be really nice. I've taken the time out of my day and life to say something nice to you, and it's not even enough to get a reply back.

Sorry to come off as a bitch, but as a fan of you, and your work, it's a real big let down.

So, I looked up "zydrate" on Urban Dictionary and part of the definition was,

"Amber Sweet (Paris Hilton) is addicted to it in Repo! The
Genetic Opera. She has a sexual relationship with G-Rob who she gets it
from. ".

G-Rob, is that like your Gangsta rap name now?

As much as I was a little bummed that I ended up going to Zonacon alone and all my friends had "plans", just finally getting to see and meet you in person for the first time made my entire weekend! It was a real honor to actually get a chance to talk to you and listen about your creative process of Repo! and The Molting. I'm very happy to support your new project and am very much looking forward to more to come "in the near future". Thank you for, at long last, signing my copy of Repo! and The Molting. I am very much looking forward to seeing you again off-screen and in-person. ..m/(>.<)..m/

Zonacon might have been a colossal failure, but meeting you was worth every penny and ounce of effort it took to get there. Thank you so much for being patient with all of us fans, especially us pansies! I'm really, really glad that you liked the drawing I made for you, as I only had a couple of hours to work on it. It still felt unfinished but my friends threatened to kill me if I didn't give it to you, so I did and it was the thrill of a lifetime to hear you call it "badass." Also: I have read Guilty Susie and I have only one complaint: It is far too SHORT, man! I'm going to read the second volume tonight so that will help ease the fangirl angst-- you can bet I'll buy all of the other volumes as well when they release. :D

I am probably about to ask you the weirdest question ever. Does Graverobber have a real name? And if not (here is the really weird part), can you please name him? This has actually been bugging me for a really long time, wondering what his name is.

Only NOW saw your comment.
I LOVE Repo! (obviously)
I just have one question (would be great if you could answer it)

Are there any plans of another UK road show or anything in the UK?

I was a late bloomer in the Repo! world and missed the last one.

Thanks
