   Terrance Zdunich's Blurbs
About me:
I grew up in Santa Ana, California, and studied illustration at Otis College of Art & Design. Following graduation, I landed work as a storyboard artist for Sony Animation and then went on to work as a freelance illustrator and storyboard artist for TV shows such as Fox’s “Bones” and films like “Into The Wild” directed by Sean Penn. I’ve also taught drawing and painting over the years.

My biggest artistic endeavor however - and the one for which I am most proud - is REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA , a
horror movie musical that I co-wrote with Darren Smith.

Photobucket

REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA began as a 10-minute opera performed in LA rock clubs, and then grew into a full-length play that’s traveled (and me with it!) to New York and Toronto, where we filmed the full-length REPO! Movie, produced and distributed by Twisted Pictures and Lions Gates Entertainment, staring Paul Sorvino, Sarah Brightman, Bill Moseley, Paris Hilton, and Anthony Stewart Head.

I’ve also been howling
"“Graaaaaaves!” as the character GraveRobber through the many incarnations of REPO!, including performing the role in the film.

Photobucket

My current project is
The Molting. This 12-part graphic novel is the portrait of a dysfunctional American family in the early ‘90’s. Set against a decaying urban landscape in Anaheim, CA, the so-called “Happiest Place On Earth”, the story traverses human history – from Upper Paleolithic hunting parties to Southern Gothic grotesqueries – to explore the family’s roots, secrets, and unconventional family bonds. The 1st issue is now available at www.TheMoltingcomic.com.

The Molting, visit www.TheMoltingcomic.com, and to find out more about me visit www.TerranceZdunich.com.
Who I'd like to meet:

good parents, Jessica Rabbit, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, and anyone who understands that “Astrology For Dummies” is duplicative - unless of course, feigning the opposite gets you laid.

Hey sweets!

It's an honor to pimp repo! It's became almost like a religion to me, I always 'preach' to people to check it out and so far I've gotten a lot of people into it. I appreciate you adding me and I will be sure to check it out asap! <3

Hello Terrance!
Nice to meet U!

Well, I can't forbid U to lick Ur computer monitor (which is the only way U can "lick" my hair, I think)))) So, go ahead!

May I ask U one question? Ur surname sounds like a Serbian or a Czech one. For example, Milla Jovovich's surname is Serbian. Mine - Tsviyovich, too. But Abramovich is neither a Serbian nor a Czech one. It's a Jewish surname. What about Urs? I'm just really curious about "-ich ending" surnames.

Have a nice day!

I got in trouble with the cops today >:l It pissed me off but I thought my head was going to explode with happiness when I saw a suspiciously sized envelope with one or two cockroaches on it :) Despite being only a few pages, The Molting was even more epic than any other manga I've ever read (Even better than MPD Physco which was pretty darn epic). Now to try and convince the mother to let me get the second one

XOXO, Manda.

Why yes, I did seek you out because you're in Repo!, but I am also from a comic book store and a few of my customers know your work, so I decided to further investigate for myself. You're a very talented guy. :)

Really? I mean, certainly you have instincts. Of course, I suppose you don't have to follow them. Many do. And, well.. Most of them don't last very long.

So, yeah. I guess you're right, if you've made it this far.

Actually no, it was more a matter of you in general. But indeed Repo was how I came across you at first. And I have checked out the molting, it's certainly looking interesting.

And yes I realize that was automated.

Just came to wish you a great day and say our first practice for our cast went great on Saturday, especially from Chase the Morning to Seventeen! We have an unbelievably amazing Shilo, Mag, and Nathan. Can't wait to start performing and hopefully you'll be in the audience one day :)

I also sought you out because of your artwork silly!! So I was wondering, were you really singing in Repo!? What about the other cast members? I had to watch Repo! for a theatre class (we were assigned to write review on a musical and one of my friends mentioned Repo!). After watching it I could not get the song Zydrate Anatomy out of my head. The lighting (among other things) was awesome!!
