Terrapin Beer Company is a small craft brewery from Athens, GA that strives to make interesting beers for folks with impeccable taste. We have three year-round beers, Rye Pale Ale (Gold Medal, 2002 Great American Beer Festival), Golden Ale (Silver Medal, 2004 World Beer Cup), and the new India Style Brown Ale.
We also currently offer our Monster Beer Tour. This selection of beers includes 4 seasonal high-gravity beers, each with their own unique profile. First, we have the Wake-n-Bake Coffee Oatmeal Imperial Stout. Brewed with locally roasted coffee from Athens own Jittery Joe's, the Wake-n-Bake is the perfect beginning or end to a cold winter day. Next is the Rye Squared. This beer is made using our signature Rye Pale Ale recipe with double the hops and double the malts. Our Summer selection is the All American Imperial Pilsner. This German style Pilsner is made using all American hops, malt, yeast, and, of course, water. Finally the Fall edition of the Monster Tour is the ever popular Big Hoppy Monster. This mammoth Imperial Red Ale is full of delicious hops and also backed by a ton of delicious malt to make the perfect beer for a cool fall night.
