We have our own sound however at times we come close to resembling the Dead
Terrapin Moon is a Grateful Dead tribute band originating in the Dayton area. The core members, Charlie, and Steve, have been together now for over 3 years however we have great friends sitting in and helping us out and the sound just keeps getting better. Bill Kurzenberger has been playing with us since October 2008 and adds so much to the musical tension and dynamics. Bill is in a few bands including Dayton's own Skeleton Crew and you can see his other projects at www.billsmusic.net. We play a few times a month both in Dayton and in Columbus . We have broken into the festival scene..a big thank you to Crazylegs and Crazylegs productions. Like the Grateful Dead, we strive to be unpredictable so every show will be different and special in its own way. That keeps it interesting for us and hopefully keep our fans coming back.
