    Terraplane Sun is all about feeling good.. Meet 5 guys from Venice Beach, California, an eclectic beach community where the city of LA meets the sea. Terraplane Sun mix their native California sound with a timeless rock 'n roll groove that leaves you no choice but to get up and move. Terraplane Sun take it back to the roots, by playing pure and simple rock n' roll, elevated by their supreme songwriting craft. Their sound is like a weaving tapestry capable of pulling you out of your physical state and into the likes of a Wes Anderson film. It's these visuals that Terraplane Sun's music evokes that are largely the reason for the great deal of success they have experienced in the film and television licensing world, not only with "Get Me Golden," but with a number of songs from both their new EP "Friends" and debut record, "Coyote" However given all of this, it is the band's live show that truly legitimizes them as one of L.A.'s top up and comers, as was evident during their recent residency at LA's legendary Satellite club in Silverlake. The LA Times raved "…they put on one of the most intense live shows in the city's local scene!..." The outstanding musical quality of Terraplane Sun's first album makes them a standard to which I hold other music that is sent to KSDT Radio. I rarely like all songs on a CD, but this is an exception.....HUCK MAGAZINE:.... Terraplane Sun are heavier and darker, with an accomplished bluesy overtone. Hailing from Venice Beach they seem to have a hard-living vibe, but they uplift at the same time and make you want to see them live because you know it will be a good night..... Terraplane Sun hails from Venice, which speaks for their California blues vibe mixed with folk and rock 'n' roll. These fellows have style and flair for days, making their stage presence something you won't want to look away from…so you best keep your eyes and your ears open. ....
