Just a few words to describe me, myself and I. We three, like you are just try'n to find the best path "up the lane". I express myself best through painting, creative art and playing music. I have been playing guitar since I saw The Beatles live on Eds' show. Also play keyboards, Hammond, midi systems, sing, and all that jazz. What I really enjoy is painting. I don't play golf or tennis, I paint. I don't take my paintings too seriously, it's just fun and intriquing to me how colour and paint and various mediums can be mixed up, tossed about and manipulated in a way to create this "thing" you hang on a wall. God given talents should not be ignored. Mine are not. This is where "Grateful" comes into play. Love to paint with bright colors and listen to insightful words with thee melody. Striving to better both. I affectionately refer to my paintings as my " colour messes ". Ya' think?

About What I Do.... I get people that are curious about my paintings and what mediums, technique, editing programs and all that jazz. I have been and still am an owner of a sign shop and a large piece of my sign work is window splashes. For instance, It is not unusual for me to go out and paint a 75' x 6'(450 sg. ft.)florescent "watercolour window splash" in a few hours at auto dealership. So after painting on canvases for a few trys, I was getting really impatient with the process. I wanted more instant gratification. More of the Jackson Pollack approach. Painting "splash" signs on glass with a 3" cotton roller instead of a brush and the final step is all brush work. Fun and fast! Soooooo, the beam of light hits me one day to go with what I know and now all my paintings are done on glass. Mediums used are acrylics, enamels, vinyl, metallics, florescents, glazes, luster stone plus any and anything else. While the paintings look vibrant and colourful on the 'ol computer screen, you do not see and feel the depth, marriage and interaction of colour and elements unless standing in front of them. Metallic and Flourescent colours interact in such a way, the paintungs seem to change disposition and attitude with the passing of the day and evening light. Pretty cool stuff! The photographing of my work is difficult to me beacuase of these elements, it seems I do several takes on all. No editing programs or software is used outside of Adobe PS sizing.

HOT MESS: Someone or something that is such a mess ... the level of it ... is off of the charts. It's past pathetic ... past pitiful. It's to the point you almost have to walk away to keep from bustin a gut. Hot messes can exist in levels. The photographs above are the opposite ... they are just HOT ... and they look a little SLIPPERY too!
