January 1995, near LECCE (Italy), the
twin-brothers AngelGore (bass/backing vocals) and Sore
(vocals/guitar) team up with Alessandro APRILE (drums) to form TERREMOTO.
In July they record a first Demo called “Dolore Bio-Psico-Sociale”
(6 songs of NoiseThrashCoreDeath) at the Zasko Lab Rec. Studio in ROMA. In March of 1996 they realize the second Demo, “Promo
‘96” (6 new songs of Thrash Metal) with Antonio CIVINO (drums) at the Pure
Rock Studio in BRINDISI.
After that the line-up changes: Sore passes from vocals/guitar to vocals/bass,
AngelGore from bass/ backing vocals to drums, Ilario SUPPRESSA on guitar. They
record the “Fobia” Mini-CD (New LM Records/Crotalo Distr.) at the
Day Rec. in PESARO,
produced by Paul CHAIN.
On 26th August 1998 Salvatore “Sore” D’ ELIA, mind and
composer of TERREMOTO, enters a deep coma cause a violent celebrate hemorrhage.
He dies 5 days later when he’s only 26 years old. Later Giuseppe DE BENEDITTIS
(vocals/bass) joins the band. In April of 1999 the band records the “Terremoto”
CD, the first full-length album (11 songs of ThrashCoreMetal) at the Pure
Rock Studio in BRINDISI
(New LM Records/Crotalo Distr.). After many live shows and festivals
around Italy
(in summer they also play at the AGGLUTINATION METAL FEST), the band
makes a break of 2 years.
In late 2002 the line-up is: Salvatore ROMANO (guitar), Francesco DE
PASCALIS (drums), AngelGore (bass), Giuseppe DE BENEDITTIS (vocals). In
December the 2 Demos are reprinted in the CD called “L’Inizio”. In
January of 2003 they record the “Infected Reality” Mini-CD at the Pure
Rock Studio in BRINDISI
(produced by Nanni Surace & TERREMOTO). In march they sign a promotional
deal with Dark Side Promotion.
In September the line-up changes again: Antonio GEMMA (guitar),
Salvatore PEZZUTO (guitar) & Vito QUARANTA (drums) join the band. After
only a month Lorenzo RUBINACCI replaces Antonio GEMMA. In the end of the
year they take part in 2 different compilations: “Total Devasto comp.”
(edited by Maxima Tortura Fanzine – Nicola Corrias) and “WildZine
compilation 5 (edited by Rosario MODICA). In January of 2004 the band
enters the rooster of Mystical Promotion, in the same year they support EXTREMA
and THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN in two different live shows. After a lot
of problems owing to incompatibility of temper and to musical divergences,
TERREMOTO split momentarily.
In February of 2006 AngelGore decides to keep alive the project
created with his twin-brother since more than 10 years, luckily he knows Stefano
PATERA (guitar) and Vincenzo DE PREZZO (bass), then he calls a new
singer, Daniele RINI, who accepts soon. Affinity and extreme mentality
makes possible the born of brave new songs and the arrangement of some old
tracks. They want to make music in a different direction with influences of
Thrash, Death metal and Grind. The new album titled “The Eternal Scream”
is recorded at the Sounds Cubed Recording Studio in BARI (June 2006).
In summer the band signs a promotional deal with ALKEMIST-FANATIX
EUROPE AGENCY of Carlo BELLOTTI (GF93). The new live debut
happens in December at the “III° Damiano De Parigi Memorial Festival” in Ostuni
(BR). The work is definitively mixed by Daniele GIORDANA at the One
Voice Studio near TORINO (January 2007).
In the same month Sokol LISNA (guitar) joins the band. In march
they sign a deal with UKDIVISION RECORDS for the upcoming new album.
From April the band plays some live shows (with NATRON and other metal
bands) and festivals including the appearance at the 5° SOUTH'S CHEYENNE FEST as
headliner with HORRID and at the SALENTO SUMMER FEST 2007 before EXTREMA
and SOULFLY. In the beginning of 2008 "The Eternal Scream"
CD is officially out, distributed in 26 countries, in Germany by CMS (21th Jan), in Italy by ANDROMEDA (18th Feb), in England &
in the World by CODE 7 - PLASTIC HEAD (03th Mar)...stay rotten!!!
