If the laws of nature were obsolete, and singers Jewel and Allison Krauss conceived a singer/songwriter daughter of their own, this is what you would hear.
I'm a transplanted Tennessean from Texas. I grew up in Jasper and lived in Waco several years before making the big move to Nashvegas. I've been singing since I was a little kid but didn't start playing guitar until I won second place in a talent contest and got to get one at a local music store. I graduated from McLennan Community College with honors with an Associate Degree in Business and another Associate Degree in Commercial Music - Performance. Sounds like I know what I'm doing, huh? Actually, I just do my thing and listen to others do theirs. I started writing seriously after moving to MusicLand in 1999 and have been playing local writers nights for the last several years. I've been lucky to have made some great (and talented) friends and some wonderful co-writers. I've finished my first CD project titled "Until Next Time" and am playing out around town. The CD is ready and for sale through cdbaby.com. I'll have my official website up soon so I hope you'll check that out, too. To pay bills, I'm working as a substitute teacher with Metro Schools. It's scary that I get to shape young minds, ain't it??? Actually I love the kids and the fact that I get to go home from work at 3:00 every day! I've been told that you can't be a songwriter in this town until you've waited tables and/or bartended so I do that at Mafiaoza's on 12th Ave S. Come by and see me!
