I'm a young adult author and teen librarian. My first book, SLEEPLESS came out September '08 with HarperTeen. It's about a teen psychic who's stalked in her sleep by a killer. If she dies in her dreams, she dies for real.
Currently I'm working on a paranormal comedy called HOLLYWEIRD. It's about two teen girls who win a trip to meet their favorite TV star only to learn he's the son of satan and the only person who can help them is a fallen angel working undercover as the celebrity's personal assistant. Look for this book under the name Tess Clark in 2010.
What are you doing about your 2010 release(s)? You need to start
pre-promoting now. Research indicates that authors who promote starting
at least six months ahead of a release date have better sales than
those who wait until the release date. We hear this question all the
time, and those who listen have a healthier following. What does that
mean? More word of mouth about their books. How do people tend to make
book-buying decisions? Word of mouth.
