TERRITORIO COMANCHE es una de las bandas pioneras del Dub en Barcelona. Nace cuando Jairo Cataño, y Rodolfo Venegas, 2 productores provenientes de Bogotá, Colombia, comienzan a trabajar juntos en el año 2004 bajo las influencias del Dub Jamaicano y la Cumbia Colombiana. Su sonido ha evolucionado hasta el día de hoy a ritmos como el Dubstep, 2step y Bassline sin dejar a un lado sus raíces latinoamericanas. En 2008 Gabriel Calderón, otro productor y músico Colombiano, se unió a la banda para darle nuevos aires con sonidos urbanos influenciado por el Techno y el Break. En las presentaciones en vivo, han contado con la colaboración de distintos artistas que han aplicado sus habilidades mediante diversas propuestas visuales y a través de diferentes herramientas, complementando su puesta en escena. Actualmente el artista Carlos Villar a.k.a Pixel in Fact, todo un icono en la escena Catalana, se hace cargo de los visuales de la banda. En su proceso artístico ha investigado texturas, colores y formas desde la narración de conceptos visuales a través de la imágen en directo, hasta la creación más pulida en el imaginario visual del videoarte. A lo largo de su trayectoria Territorio Comanche ha girado por varios países de Europa, ha sido telonero de bandas reconocidas de dub tales como High Tone en la Sala Apolo de Barcelona, y ha tocado en festivales como el Fusion Festival (2007) en Alemania, en festivales locales como el Sonoric Festival (2008), el Inside 22@ (2008), el Cerkal Festival (2009), el FunDub Festival (2009 & 2010) y el Congreso Iberoamericano de las Culturas en Medellín, Colombia (2010) además de haber tocado en repetidas ocasiones en varias salas de Alemania, Suiza y España. .. TERRITORIO COMANCHE is one of the leading Dub bands of Barcelona. Started in 2004 by producers Jairo Cataño and Rodolfo Venegas from Bogotá, Colombia, and influenced by Jamaican Dub and Colombian Cumbia, its sound continues to evolve to include rhythms such as Dubstep, 2step and Bassline without ever forgetting its Latin American roots. Since 2008, Gabriel Calderón, another producer and Colombian musician, joined the band bringing a new complement of original urban sound influenced by Techno and Break. In their live performances they have counted with the collaboration of multiple artists that have applied their skills through different visual proposals, using various tools, to complement their live shows. Currently the artist Carlos Villar a.k.a Pixel in Fact, an icon in the Catalan scene, is in charge of the visuals of the band. In his artistic process he has investigated textures, colors and forms through his refined creations in the video art world exposed in his visual live sets. Over the years, Territorio Comanche has toured in several European countries, has opened for well known dub bands like High Tone at the Sala Apolo in Barcelona and have played in festivals such as the Fusion Festival (2007) in Germany, and in local ones like the Sonoric Festival (2008), the Inside 22@ (2008), the Cerkal Festival (2009), the FunDub Festival (2009 & 2010) and the Iberoamerican Congress of Cultures in Medellín, Colombia (2010). They have also performed repeatedly in various venues throughout Germany, Switzerland and Spain. -

(English)One of the pioneer Dub bands from the underground scene in Barcelona, started in 2004 by producers Jairo Cataño and Rodolfo Venegas from Bogotá, Colombia, influenced by Jamaican Dub and Colombian Cumbia. Its sound have continued to evolve to generous Bassline grooves intersecting rhythms such as Techstep, 2step and Dub without leaving aside its Latin American roots. Over the years, Territorio Comanche has toured in several European countries and have warmed up for legendary Dub bands such as High Tone (JFX) at the Sala Apolo in Barcelona. They have also shared stages with bands like Kings of Brixton and Le peuple de L'herbe at the Fusion Festival in Germany (2007) and have performed in festivals such as the Sonoric Festival (2008), Inside 22@ (2008), Cerkal Festival (2009) and the FunDub Festival (2009 - 2010) among others. In 2010 Territorio Comanche was invited to be part of the line-up of the Iberoamerican Congress of Cultures in Medellín, Colombia (2010), representing Spain and Colombia. ------------------------------------------------------------------- (Español)

A lo largo de su trayectoria Territorio Comanche ha visitado varios países de Europa y ha tenido el gusto de abrir para bandas legendarias de dub como High Tone (Jarring Effects) en la Sala Apolo de Barcelona (2010). Así mismo, ha compartido escenarios con bandas como Kings of Brixton y Le Peuple de L'herbe en el Fusion Festival de Alemania (2007) y ha participado en varios festivales locales como el Sonoric Festival (2008), el Inside 22@ (2008), el Cerkal Festival (2009) y el FunDub Festival (2009 - 2010) entre otros. En el 2010 fueron invitados para ser parte de la programación musical del III Congreso Iberoamericano de la Culturas en Medellín, Colombia.
