Born out of the passion and creativity of K.Nivek and Psychofaerie in the fall of 2004, the couple has harnessed their personal and artistic chemistry. in orgasmic howls and musical mayhem that speak of passion and the ugliness and beauty that surrounds it.
They have been described as “erotic, disturbing, and haunting”, with a show that is a must see.
Terrorcouple have been turning heads by dousing small regional clubs in stage blood, playing two national festivals, and opening for bands such as PIG and Meg Lee Chin.
Combining strong tribal beats of acoustic, electronic, and scrap metal percussion, thick sonic textures of choice analog and digital sounds, and eerie, emotionally raw vocals, Terrorcouple is often compared to the adventurous spirit of Skinny Puppy and Throbbing Gristle.
Their music is hard, dark and passionate with a strange female presence that will haunt and seduce you. Their live show is truly a performance. Wielding theatrical devices such as video, lighting, macabre props, blood and costumes, all presented with an expressionistic approach, Terrorcouple have set themselves apart. They purposefully create an atmosphere that both challenges and assaults the senses, drawing their audience into the Terrorcouple experience.
