"You wouldn't want to listen to our demo in the dark, would ya?"
We pride ourselves in the fact that we make music we love. Appealing to many people that we have had privilege to perform in front of is an ultimate bonus. Terrorform are five guys from the Midlands who’s only ambition Is to play the HEAVIEST music known to man. The great thing about our sound is that it is impossible to label or pin point its genre. The only description given to date is “Doom Thrash Metal”!!!
At the point of recording the first demo, simply titled ‘Terrorform’, our sound was beginning to evolve into something a bit more sludgy and doomy with some nasty thrashy bits thrown in here and there. We gave out numerous copies of the first demo to fans and promoters but as time went on, we realised that even though this material was awesome, we could do better so we started to kick around the idea of returning to the studio. BUT, we were given a new opportunity – A SECOND GUITARIST! Owen had just left his previous band and wanted to play some scrotty metal. We welcomed the opportunity with open arms – he’s an awesome guitarist and wants to play metal, how can this go wrong? Oh, it can’t! and our old stuff sounds so much more dynamic.
Our old material is now so heavy and the new material absurdly brutal! It’s not to be reckoned with, and if things carry on going the way they are then only nightmares can tell what the yet unwritten material is going to sound like. We thought we knew how heavy our stuff was, but when we recorded it! Oh my sweet lord, I think we all shat ourselves simultaneously. On entering the studio for the second time in March ’08 to record a three song demo, our ambition this time was simple – create the heaviest thing we’ve EVER heard and I think we can all proudly say that we have succeeded as this stuff sounds like a building falling over.
We’ve played with so many great bands so far at so many great venues and the journey will only get better I’m sure.
The new E.P which is called Bleed the sun is a collection of three songs that say it all about who we are and what we sound like – enjoy.
Much love and respect,
TF
"Straight from the first second of track one, the beats are brutal. Well layerd with 'Lamb Of God' vocals spitting right in your face. Acoustic guitar slows the pace down for a short intro, before the marching drum beats and electric thunderbolt riffs return to take no prisoner. An impressive 3 track CD that should see them roaring into a town near you soon!' 9/10" - Warren Smith.
