When it seems that our sorrow is too great to be borne,
let us think of the great family
of the heavy-hearted into which our grief has given us entrance,
    and inevitable,
    we will feel about us,
    their arms and their understanding.

About me:

55-year-old mostly retired, soon to be married to my Twin Flame, Debra. Very proud father of two grown children; Nicole, (almost) 24, and Ryan, (almost) 20. Retired from the US Navy in 2000 after 20 incredible years of travelling. Began the strangest journey, however, two years leaving the Navy. I ventured on the quest to discover who I was and what my place was in the Universe. Ventur-ing, I should say. The Universe is alive and well and very clear in their messages of love, forgiveness, karma and our need to stay focused always on the positive. And always, always, always, show gratitude. Photobucket "The greatest achievement is selflessness. The greatest worth is self-mastery. The greatest quality is seeking to serve others. The greatest precept is continual awareness. The greatest medicine is the emptiness of everything. The greatest action is not conforming with the worlds ways. The greatest magic is transmuting the passions. The greatest generosity is non-attachment. The greatest goodness is a peaceful mind. The greatest patience is humility. The greatest effort is not concerned with results. The greatest meditation is a mind that lets go. The greatest wisdom is seeing through appearances." Atisha
